"生命"電影放映新聞稿「一場無法缺席的記憶，一段不知何時能畫上句點的生命旅程」 --- 九二一大地震紀錄片播放一九九九年九月二十一日，台灣中部山區發生驚天動地的九二一大地震，無數的生命因而逝去，無數的家庭因而破碎。導演吳乙峰以他與朋友間的信件為基礎，拍攝下數個家庭從地震傷痛殘敗中努力站起來的經過，闡明了在災難中失去摯愛的數個家庭的悲痛，以及導演和他住在安養院年邁的父親間的關係、生離死別、絕望與求生的慾望。導演吳乙峰拍攝的這部九二一大地震災後重建紀錄片，是去年台灣最令人感動的電影，也讓人更體會出生命的意義與可貴。本片獲得2003年日本山形國際紀錄片影展優等獎及2003年法國南特影展觀眾票選最佳紀錄片。在芝加哥大學台灣同學會副會長許舒堯的努力下，台灣同學會購得"生命"的公開播映版，將於二月十二日(週六)下午三點鐘於芝加哥大學 Max Palevsky Cinema 放映。電影放映將對外公開，免費入場，歡迎大家踴躍前往觀賞。 Max Palevsky Cinema的地址是： Idya Noyes Hall, 1212 E. 59th St. Chicago, IL, 60637 若有任何疑問，請至芝大台灣同學會網頁留言： http://taiwan-student.uchicago.edu/forum/ MOVIE : "GIFT OF LIFE" (生命) DATE & TIME : 3:00 pm, Feb. 12 (Sat), 2005 PLACE : Max Palevsky Cinema, Ida Noyes Hall ( 1212 E. 59th St. Chicago, IL, 60637) FEE : FREE!!!
