[北美] h1b延簽與h4申請問題
我現在是h1b 老婆f1 兩個小孩f2
公司開始幫我辦extension
老婆快畢業了,所以我們計劃把小孩改成h4
但當我要填i-539時
它有兩個選項
a. an extension of stay in my current status
b. a change of status. the new status I am requesting is:_______
我就傻了,因為我該選a,小孩該選b
然後去看i539 instruction
有一段
Multiple Applicants
You may include your spouse and your unmarried children under 21 years of age
as co-applicants in your application for the same estension or change of status,
but only if you are all now in the same status or they are all in derivative
status.
這意思是他們不能現在轉嗎?要等我老婆找到工作拿h1b他們才可以跟她轉h4嗎?

Part 1. information about you 這邊直接填小孩?
那第二個小孩應該另填一份i-539還是填Supplement?
