Premiere of "Dear Taiwan",《好國好民》紀錄片發表會 Time: 10/22/2011 Saturday 9:45 am -12:00 pm Location: Lexington Cary Memorial Library, Large Meeting Room 1874 Massachusetts Avenue Lexington, MA 02420 Parking: On-street parking near the library and off-street public parking near Deport Square available (about $1/hour) "Dear Taiwan", directed by Lihkuei Chen (陳麗貴) , a documentary about rising Taiwan Identity: 「我是誰？」一個簡單的問題，對台灣人卻從來沒有簡單的答案。特殊的歷史際遇，一個世紀以來，台灣人民在「台灣人」、「日本人」和「中國人」三重身份中，游離不定，糾纏不清。然而，一個世紀以來，在反抗異族統治，爭取民主自由，追尋公理與正義的過程中，台灣人也逐漸形塑出自己的國家認同。21世紀解嚴後成長的台灣青年，已不再為「身世」感到困惑，他們很自信、很大聲地說出「我是台灣人」。 Please arrive on time. We will have about 15 minutes introduction and start the film exactly at 10:00AM. The film is about 80 minutes and followed by a 30 min. discussion (hosted by our young members Chia-Chun and Herbert.)
