Roaming with Fido costs 10 cents per minute.
I use the service from this company, http://www.alldaytalk.com/ ,
to make phone calls to Taiwan, the States, or another province.
It works just like a phone card, I call a local operator then it connects
me to another country. Its cost is 5 cents per minute, plus local call
fare, which is almost nothing with my Fido plan.
The net difference is the 5 cents per minute roaming cost, down from 10.
It works for many countries.
Sometimes, I would rather use MSN or Skype to "call" my family for free.
