To ensure that you remain mobile with public transport once you reach
your destination, we offer special "Laender-Tickets" in cooperation with
many of the Federal Laender, to make your holiday even less expensive.
Laender-Tickets can be used by up to 5 persons or by parents/grandparents
(or one parent/grandparent) with any number of their own
children/grandchildren aged under 15. They can be used for one day for 2nd
class travel on Deutsche Bahn local trains (IRE, RE, RB and S-Bahn) and
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
on services operated by the participating transport associations. IR trains
can also be used subject to payment of a supplement of EUR 13.00.
Tariffs, conditions of use and scope of validity may vary between the
individual Laender-Tickets. Laender-Tickets are valid from Monday to Friday,
from 9:00 h to 3 h of the following day (on bank holidays for the whole day).
Since 12 December, Laender-Tickets can also be used at the weekend
