[心得] I-824 Follow-to-join 時程

I-824旅程終於告個段落, 全部都自己辦再加上板上的先進幫忙, 雖說不算很順利, 但也關關難過關關過. 來回報一下時程 2/2016 拿到綠卡就開始著手辦配偶與小孩的 Follow-to-join (I-824) 3/9/2016 Filed I-824 3/26 Received rejection due to application confusion. 因為我的申請件上還有附上copy of I-485 petition USCIS誤以為我是要辦I-485 即使我的cover letter & check 都有說明是要辦 I-824.. 所以案件被退回 3/28 Re-submitted - 拿掉I-485 只留I-485 approval letter 再送件一次 5/26 I-824 Approved (Notice Date) 8/11 Contacted congressman office, and inquired about the case not transferred to NVC. USCIS requested the I-824 application from records room and the Alien’s file from the National Records Center. 過了約近三個月, 一直遲遲案件沒到NVC, SR也沒用, 所以又只好聯絡當地議員幫忙追一下案件狀況, 不知道是根本沒轉去NVC還是轉丟了, 總之又重新轉了一次 8/31 Received status update from congressman office that USCIS forwarded i-824 to NVC 9/26 NVC received I-824 from USCIS 10/7 Sent support documents to NVC 12/30 Interview Scheduled 2/14/2017 AIT Interview 2/17 Received passports & Immigrate Visa expiring 6 months from medical examination 之前一直以為是面試完拿到IV六個月內要入境, 其實是以體檢的日期後六個月所以太早去做體檢也是不通, 建議面試日期確定後再去體檢, 通常面試通知到面試日會約有一個月的時間, 所以時間都會足夠. 3/ First day in US 就這樣謝謝大家 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 70.213.21.59 ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Immigration/M.1491582411.A.F7F.html
