N-400 聖荷西 04/20/2025 filed 04/20/2025 biometrics reused 04/20/2025 case is still being processed 09/09/2025 interview scheduled 10/16/2025 passed interview 10/16/2025 oath ceremony notice was mailed (約兩週後典禮) 綠卡滿五年前三個月申請，剛申請時預估時間約五至六個月。每一次 status API 有更新時，系統預估時間都會重設。到滿五年那一天，預估時間變成兩個月。在預估大概剩兩週時還是沒面試的消息，我另外上傳了五年的 IRS tax transcripts，如預料預估時間又重設為兩個月，但大約一兩週後收到面試通知。面試通過了之後，沒有像 FB/Reddit 上的人説可以當天宣誓，但好在也是當天直接拿到 oath ceremony notice，預定兩週後參加典禮。 Civil questions 1. What are two rights in the Declaration of Independence? 2. Name one branch or part of the government. 3. What is the name of the Vice President of the United States? 4. Under our Constitution, some powers belong to the Federal government, what is one power of the Federal government? 5. What is one responsibility that is only for US citizens? 6. Name one war fought by the US in the 1900s? 讀寫 Who was the first President? Washington was the first President. 當天預定面試時間半小時前進入聖荷西辦公室，剛進入大廳時滿多人在等待的，checked in 後等了大概快一個小時。面試主要問個人資料，出生地，如何拿到綠卡，有沒有改名，現在地址，核對五年內出境日期。因為我小時候改過名，特別要了我的全戶戶籍藤本看了一下。接下來就是一連串的快速 Yes or No questions。因為當過兵，所以有被特別詢問為什麼要當兵，當兵時有沒有當過監獄的守衛，有沒有下屬，還有階級專長和武器訓練。面試時長體感大約半小時。 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 76.231.26.220 (美國) ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Immigration/M.1760647788.A.496.html
