[問題] 關於駕照的問題
請問一下大家
我在紐約州的DMV網站上看到
A valid driver license from another country is also valid in NYS. You do not
need to apply for a NYS driver license unless you become a resident of NYS.
我拿的是F-1簽證
所以意思是不是說
我可以直接帶我的台灣護照(加上國際駕照證明)
就可以合法的在紐約州開車了?
因為我有聽朋友(以前在加州)說過
他在加州開車用國際駕照的話
警察會要求他盡快去考駕照
在網頁上還提到
According to NYS law, a resident of another country can get a NYS driver
license. The DMV does not recommend this because:
下面列了幾個原因
所以我可以不用再去考駕照是嗎?
如果這樣子的話
我開到其他州會不會有問題呢?
