[北美] L-1 Visa
Sorry, for some reason I can't type chinese in this computer.
Since I didn't get the H-1B visa on 2008, my company sent me
back to TW to temp work 1 year in order to be qulified for L-1 Visa.
However, one of my friend who's in the same situation as me was told by
his Legal Dept that he has to have "qualified w/e" to be qualified for L-1,
meaning the company has to demonstrate that the position cannot be fullfilled
by other american employee.
Therefore, the company thinks he is not qualified for the L-1 Visa...
I'm wondering that if anyone who has gone thru the L-1 process could kindly
share w/ your experience?
We've looked up online and spoke w/ our HR respectively while they don't have
consistent answers....
p.s. we both work for companies under L-1 Blanket.
