[北美] 加拿大學生簽證問題

這是幫我朋友問的, 他快被這件事搞瘋了,我在旁邊看了很不忍,所以想看看有沒有人能幫他指點一下. 我這位朋友國中到大學都是在加拿大念的, 之後到美國念碩士,在此時他的姊姊拿到楓葉卡, 因此我朋友全家人都得以移民加拿大--包括我朋友的父母與兩位妹妹, 唯獨我朋友的年紀超過規定無法依賴姊姊移民. 從此他就展開了艱苦的移民戰爭, 這部份的細節我不是很清楚,我只知道他每次都在快要拿到楓葉卡時遇到政策改變, 總之他辛苦了很久都沒拿到. 據他說最近加拿大又改成拿學生簽證兩年以上+工作一年即可取得楓葉卡, 所以他打算轉換跑道念一個跟他碩士學位完全不相關且較容易在加拿大找到工作的領域, 他學校都申請到了,也中止原本進行中的移民申請, 卻遇到加拿大在台辦事處遷往香港,學生簽證辦理方法要以香港為準. 聽我朋友說要求的東西比以前多很多, 其中有一個是讀書計畫,要解釋為何非要去加拿大念書. 雖然有代辦說台灣申請人不需要交讀書計畫, 但我朋友很擔心他的情況--他所有家人都已移民加拿大+他的求學經歷+申請移民的歷史, 會被懷疑有移民意圖(事實上的確有)導致學生簽證發不下來. 請問有哪位高人能針對我朋友的狀況發表高見嗎? 他是否屬於拒發高危險群? 有什麼辦法能提高他辦到學生簽證的機率嗎? 感謝! -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 118.231.95.103
