我收到朋友轉給我的網頁,是大陸留學生寫的 http://www.feiyue001.com/articles/?id=10747 請問這項情況是? 因為妹妹明年1月要出國,現在還在辦I-20,怕影響到內文如下: 昨天（11月18日）收到我們學校ISSS官方郵件的第一時間我就把主要內容發了校內狀態，郵件全文是這樣的： “ To all International Students and Scholars, ISSS has just been informed that effective immediately, the Department of State has suspended issuing new entry visas for all F, J and M visa classifications. This is due to difficulties in communication between SEVIS and the Department of State's Consular database. Please note that this does not affect any currently valid entry visas, or any current visa status you hold . However if you are planning to travel outside the US and require a renewed entry visa to return, you may wish to alter you travel plans until this issue is resolved. The Department of State is working to resolve this matter as quickly as possible, however no timeframe has been established at this time. ISSS will provide any updates as we receive them. ” 其後在網上陸陸續續出現了各種版本的停發visa通知，看來我們學校的消息非常及時。還有消息說“中國不在停發的list裡”，個人對此特別進行了驗證，結果顯示，“中國不在停發的list裡”指的是因戰爭和國家安全等原因停發visa的國家list ，鏈接如下： http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/info/info_1302.html 其中特別強調了 The list below does not include the following: Holiday closures or very short-term suspensions of service for non-security reasons。也就是說像這次這種由於數據庫交互問題的技術層面原因而造成的visa停發的情況並不列在那個名單裡。 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.224.45.103
