[北美][H1B ] Transfer 何時能跟現在公司提辭呈

大家好，有個關於H1B Transfer的問題想請教。昨天新公司的律師通知我，我的H1B transfer 已經file，並附上fedex的delievered notice，並且說從file當天開始就可以在新公司工作。我想確認一下我需等到transfer approved再跟目前公司說離職的事嗎？我問了律師以下是他的回覆： Q1:Do I need to wait for the approval for H1 transfer before I can work for the new company? A:No. You can begin the employment upon filing. The I-9 can be completed by writing “AC-21” and the date of filing next to Section 2 (see page 22, of the attached 2013 I-9 Handbook). The I-9 should then be updated as soon as you have the petition approval notice. Q2:what if my H1B transfer got rejected? A:That has never happened in our office for software professionals over decades and thousands of cases. However, it is possible.
