2011.01.07 Ardbeg Uigeadail L9 54.2%, OB Color: Deep Rice Gold, oily. Aroma: Peaty, sherry, smoke, burning plastic, salty, and lemon. Palate: Salty, lemon, very bitter tangerine peel with smoke, and dark chocolate. Finish: Medium, salty, smoke, bitter dark chocolate, a little dry throat finally. Balance and Conclusion: The bitter tangering peel/dark chocolate is very obvious in the palate, which is not my appreciation. Together with char/smoke and strong salty, but not sweet in the finish which previous Uigeadail brought. Aroma is better than palate, while herry is clear in the aroma, but I can't distinguish sherry in the palate. Judy likes this L9 Uigeadail, but I don't. Let's see its evolution some days later after being opened. Maybe I should buy some Uigeadail L5 first. 這是剛開的時候自己寫的心得，大致上是聞香比喝起來好，不過開瓶後再放一個星期，那令我不悅的苦味有逐漸淡去，最近喝狀況有好了些，但還是比不上早些喝過的L6版Uigeadail 2010.09.13 Ardbeg Uigeadail L6 54.2% Color: Deep Rice Gold, medium oily Aroma: Strong alcoholic at first, followed by sherry sweet and some hint of banana oil, peat, iodic and smoke arrives after alcoholic smell decreases, and some chocolate. Palate: Tangering, lemon, pepper, peat, chocolate, and salty.
