本篇為取得 Elite status 的小技巧之第一篇: 不用飛也可以取得 AA 黑卡?! ======= 不用飛也可以取得 AA 黑卡?! 咁有影?! ======= 在 US Airways 有一個 Buy up to Perferred 的 Program 可以讓你買最多 10 萬虛擬 EQM 或 120 虛擬航段 (不會真的存到你帳號) 來 top-up status。所以會員可以利用此方式來取得高等級的會員資格。而 US 預計將在年底與 AA 合併，所以今年底便有一個可能連飛一段都不用就可以快速取得 AA Executive Platinum (EXP) 黑卡方式。具體操作方法有下列兩種: 1. 花 3999 USD (含7.5% Tax) 買 120 虛擬航段，無須飛行直上 US Airways Chairman。 2. 如果你的 US 帳號內有一段或一哩以上的 EQM，只需花 2999 USD (含 7.5% Tax) 即可以變成 Chairman。而沒有里程或航段的板友可以先飛一段可累積 EQM 的航段累積至 US 帳號再購買 119 個航段即可。最後就是等待 US 與 AA 合併了! 這樣子明年您就是 AA Executive Platinum 黑卡了! 之後變成 AA 黑卡，如果 AA 沒改變規定的話，您會有 8 張 SystemWide Upgrades (SWUs)。此外，變成 Chairman 對您開 US 的獎勵票還有許多優惠及減免，以及兩張 US Airways 的 Systemwide upgrade (2014/2)，和可能在十一月再寄出兩張使用期限到 2015/2 的 SWUs。這最多四張的 SWUs 應該在合併後還可以繼續使用。所以您可能會有最多 12 張或最少 10 張的 SWUs，兩張使用期限到 2014/2 的 US SWUs、兩張使用期限到 2015/2 的 US SWUs、以及八張使用期限到 2015/2 的 AA SWUs。而在市面上，一張 SWU 價值約在 350+ USD。所以等於您的支出幾乎都回饋給您了! 詳細 Chairman 的優惠請查閱下列網址 http://www.usairways.com/en-US/dividendmiles/preferred/chairmans.html 不過要注意的是目前美國政府部門對合併還有些異議，雖然最後有很大的機率會通過但是還是有存在著少許風險。還請自行評估風險。小小心得請各位大大鞭小力點。>///< 參考資料: [1] Buy up to Perferred 購買網址: http://www.usairways.com/en-US/dividendmiles/preferred/ buy-up-to-preferred.html 縮: http://ppt.cc/Zi0l Buy up to Preferred fee* Miles Segments Fee 1 - 1,999 1 - 2 $249 2,000 - 4,999 3 - 6 $399 5,000 - 9,999 7 - 11 $579 10,000 - 14,999 12 - 18 $789 15,000 - 24,999 19 - 29 $989 25,000 - 49,999 30 - 59 $1,499 50,000 - 74,999 60 - 89 $2,499 75,000 - 99,999 90 - 119 $2,999 100,000 120 $3,999 Terms & Conditions *Price includes federal excise tax of 7.5%. 根據報導 11/25 將在美國司法部公聽會如果通過合併的話，合併日期應在 2014/1/17 或法庭判決日後14天前完成合併沒過就 GG 啦! 1. Amendment to Section 6.2(a) of the Merger Agreement. Section 6.2(a) of the Merger Agreement is deleted and replaced in its entirety with the following: (a) either (i) the Merger shall not have been consummated by the later of (A) January 17, 2014 and (B) fourteen (14) days after the District Court (as defined below) enters an Order in the Trial (as defined below) in favor of American and US Airways, provided that such Order is entered on or prior to January 17, 2014, or (ii) five (5) days shall have elapsed after the United States District Court for the District of Columbia (the “District Court”) enters a final, but appealable, Order permanently restraining, enjoining or otherwise prohibiting consummation of the Merger following the trial in the proceeding captioned United States of America, et al. v. US Airways Group, Inc. and AMR Corporation (the “Trial”);
