【EVA Air Memories: Delivery of EVA's 1st Two Boeing 747-400s.】
EVA celebrated delivery of its first two Boeing 747-400s on November 2, 1992
with great fanfare.
The Seattle ceremony was co-hosted by Group Chairman Y. F. Chang, who served
as chairman of EVA Air then, and James Johnson, vice president-general
manager of Boeing’s Everett, Washington Office. Chang and Johnson stood
side-by-side between the majestic aircraft, positioned nose-to-nose, and
toasted to a landmark event. The successful relationship between our two
companies continues to this day.
【長榮話當年 ~首二架B747-400交機】
1992年的 11月2日是長榮航空首二架B747-400客機交機的大日子。
儀式於西雅圖舉行，由張總裁與波音公司的艾佛瑞廠副總裁Mr. James Johnson共同主持
，兩位於新飛機的機鼻前共同舉杯慶賀，十分經典的一幕喔。

前幾天看Miss Pilot
說到ANA的747在慢慢退役了
想到長榮的747也是一樣 不是慢慢除役就是改成Cargo
很少搭飛機的我還沒坐過747阿QAQ
明顯的特徵 當初的巨無霸客機 耶因為巨無霸的耗油
慢慢消失在現在雙發廣體的洪流中
