This is no longer true.
After the merg of AT&T and Cingular, they have a better network together.
So the coverage of Cingular is at least number 2, if not number 1.
Most Cingular/AT&T customers feel a gradual improvement depending on their
locations.
And also, until a few months ago, TMobile was leasing network from Cingular.
This means, T Mobile's coverage was always identical to Cingular, if not worse.
Now Cingular sold the California network to TMobile and leased from TMobile
, so there could be a gradual change, but very slowly.
