A valid REP will also allow PRs to return to Singapore as a valid : Singapore PR. : 2 Hence, if you have remained abroad without a valid Re-Entry Permit : (REP), you would have lost your Singapore Permanent Residence (SPR). It is : therefore not necessary for you to renounce your SPR as you have since then : ceased to be a Singapore permanent resident.
