[分享]ETS官方免費測試題口說分析&隱藏題SK2Liyi

若近期還沒用過TestReady的同學.非常建議大家去練習.
#提醒:
1.TestReady是只要有ETS帳戶(不需要報名考試)就可以使用的
2.TestReady口說測試要用好一點的麥克風(辨識狀況比較好)
#Test Ready好處
除了一套任何時間都能做的Practice Test以外,ETS還會提供每日一題，
而且這個題目會比標準Practice Test提供更多的分析面向如下:
A.Topic Development (Discourse Cohesion內容邏輯)
B.Delivery
1.Fluency
(a.Speaking Rate語速, b.Pauses中斷是否合理, c. Sustained Speech連續不停的句長)
2.Rhythm (Intonation語調)
3.Pronunciation(發音)
C.Language Use文法用字
1.Grammatically Accuracy文法正確性
2.Grammatical Complexity文法複雜性
3.Vocabularity Diversity & Depth單字多元度(各種詞性)&深度
附帶一提,這些面相對於分數的影響力不一樣
#語速建議
我昨天用他的每日測試題(Task2)，
來測試一下不同語速在ETS官方speechrater AI的分數判斷。
我在盡可能維持一樣的語調/發音/文法表現下，
測試130-180 words per minute的語速，
實證發現: 比較能夠穩定達到4分的是150wpm以上的速度(獨立題換算是150/60*45=112)
雖然也是有幾次練習是140wpm拿到4分的，但機率比較小一點。
#字數的分母效應
語速對於回答的影響,除了身為fluency中的一個項目,網路上一些美加老師的猜測，
而我也認同的是: 字數多的時候,一些回答的文法用字錯誤率的可能會下降
(也就是說,一個錯誤除以比較大的分母)
#那human rater呢
如果你英文真的很好，只是語速偏慢，human rater可能會給你比speech rater高分.
畢竟我測試過youtube上某家語速比較慢的加拿大老師音檔.
照Speechrater他可能只有22(2.97)分.
但任何一個有耳朵的human rater一聽就知道這是正統美加人，
不太可能給他這個分數(?)
但我也看過少數幾個SK2同學是英文真的不錯，文法和表達正確性都在，
但是分數以我的角度是明顯低估(例如實力在27-28的感覺,但被給24;
或實力在22-23被給19)；也有看到少數語速非常快,
但我認為錯誤率比較高的同學得到高分(例如實力23判成26)
#總結: 怎麼看待speech rater/Test Ready分數?
如果speech rater分數很高,human rater沒辦法忽略這個高分.
而speech rater又是你以透過Test Ready免費測試的，
所以練習的時候應該多加使用speech rater測試,
以能夠穩定拿到4分的方式去回答.
而語速就是其中一個比較重要的調校變數。

Grammatically Complexity(文法複雜度)這個項目結果感覺比較謎一點，

剛才說了, Test Ready標準介面是提供一套完整Practice Test.
每天丟出一題評分較詳細的練習題.
介面上並沒有一次把完整的額外練習題列出來，
可能是要鼓勵你每天登入練習新題。
