Obtain authorization from an advisor : in OIE to have a reduced course load before the quarter begins, or, if : mid-quarter, BEFORE dropping a class (limit of one quarter only per : program/degree for a valid academic reason, and up to 12 months for a medical : reason). : 但是不知道這跟part time CPT是否有衝突 : 所以建議你要找國際學生辦公室的顧問再詳細詢問 : 最好是有email往返的紀錄,in case以後有問題時可以做為證據我真的很感謝回答的板友!!你們真是好人!!^^ 在我準備當part time之前,也就是一年多前, 我都問過OIE了--我可以一邊當part time學生又一邊做part time CPT嗎? advisor 沒有直接回答我這個問題, 他們只是一直重復 "只要你提出credit hour reduction申請,graduate school那邊又批准你的申請, 你就可以這樣做" 既然他們這樣說,我就這樣申請, 每次申請的理由我都是填"已通過候選人考試,必修課程已經修完,目前在寫論文" 這樣已經三學期了,(其實應該是"學季" (quater),我們學校是學季制,一年有四學季) 每次申請我都要去OIE報備的,由advisor決定要不要給我申請表格(這表格只有advisor有), 給我之後我自己填好交到graduate school, gradute school再決定要不要批准我的申請,然後他們再把結果寄到OIE, 然後再由OIE通知我. 整個申請程序這樣往返頻繁, 而且重點是--每次批准我的都是不同的advisor, 也就是說我的資料被很多人從頭到尾看過,要出錯真的很難, 他們也都給我申請,也都給我過了, 要是有問題,我真的不知道要找誰負責.....因為我都沒騙人啊..... 現在我擔心的是我回台灣以後,移民官會理解這個部分,還會發給我F-1嗎? 目前我有想到一個比較保險的辦法, 就是我下學期註10學分恢復full time,而且在回台灣前先把學費交掉, 這樣在學證明就會顯示我已經註冊且是full time, 等我簽證拿到回美國以後再退掉我不需要的學分, 不知道這樣可不可行? -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 24.160.190.28
