你的問題其實有點棘手,原因在於在OPT期間renew F1有一定的風險我身邊有朋友成功過,沒聽過失敗的例子,因為例子並不多一般的人不是等到H1再回台灣簽證,就是先renew再拿OPT. 節錄德州大學奧斯汀分校國際學生辦公室的文章 http://www.utexas.edu/international/isss/immigration/opt_travel.html 6. Yes/No : me and my wife: 應該是 No. No. : Item 37: : Are any of the following persons in the U.S., or do they have U.S. citizenship? : Mark YES or NO and indicate that person's status in the U.S. : 我的二個小孩都在美國生的，我應該勾 : Yes: Son/Daughter, status: U.S. citizen Yes : 對嗎？ : 以上是我填表時遇到的疑問，希望有人幫忙解惑，感激不盡。 : 另外，我曾 email 問過 AIT 關於 OPT 期間 renew F1 要多準備那些文件，他們回我說除了該填的表格外（申請 F1/F2 VISA要用的），還要帶 job offer letter (proof of employment), 畢業證書，EAD card。我也有問到是否要重繳 SEVIS fee, AIT 回說 : " If you have continued to maintain your F-1 status while on OPT, you do not need to pay a new SEVIS fee." : 我想我是不用重繳 SEVIS fee，對吧？對. : 以上資訊供有相同情況的朋友參考。以我的看法,你被拒簽的機率還是高,因為F1-OPT期間從簽證的時間到OPT結束不過幾個月,兩個小孩都美國公民沒有想要留美國的意圖很難自圓其說,如果前面寫Intent to stay in USA 卻又違反F1不能有移民企圖的基本原則,所以是很矛盾的. 僅供參考 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 67.208.96.242
