[北美] H1B簽證處理過程疑問
我目前的簽證是J1，已拿到Waiver
簽證到期日為5/12/2013，緩衝期至(grace period)6/12/2013.
學校目前正在幫我申請H1B，我想請問在H1B核可之前，6/12之後，
我是否一定得離開美國？
學術機構大約處理H1B時間為多久？有可能在8/12開學前拿到H1B嗎？
今天學校秘書寄了封信給我，內容如下
As you know, your grace period under your J-1 ends on June 12, 2013.
I have checked with ISS and it has been determined that, since the wage
verification with the Department of Labor takes anywhere from 60 – 90 days,
you will need to leave the US and not be able to reenter
until the H1-B approval arrives and you obtain an H1-B visa stamp at the US
Consulate abroad.
想請問大家秘書的資訊是否正確。
