來到傳說中的American In Taiwan 路邊沒有人排隊警衛看了我的 [American In Taiwan Appointment Confirmation] 就叫我進去寄放電子用品要押一張證件然後過安檢門到目前有兩個重點第一因為人數管控的關係只可以晚到不可以早到第二無論如何千萬不要押護照 ... 好了進到外場開始排隊有專人協助我檢查必要文件是否齊全包括 [American In Taiwan Appointment Confirmation] [DS-160 Confirmation] [SEVIS I-901 Payment Confirmation] [美商美國銀行郵局劃撥單] [Form I-20] [護照(效期比簽證長六個月)] [5cm*5cm 證件照(白底六個月內)] -- [戶籍謄本(如果曾改名)] 我沒有 [舊護照(如果曾有過美簽)] 我有四本資料確認完整後還有美麗的姐姐幫我排好順序並在護照外皮貼上條碼到這裡也是兩個重點第一美麗的條碼姐姐其實是孕婦第二關於這不美觀條碼最後從米國人手上拿回來時不管是面交還是郵寄都可以當場撕掉進入內場就要真正跟米國人打交道了總共有三個關卡 1.登錄資料 2.按指紋 3.面談前兩個非常簡單把整理好的資料推進去拿出來再按照左四右四中二的順序按好十個手指頭的指紋就好值得注意的是推送文件的優美手勢跟按壓指紋的內功力道都不計分你護照反推卡在窗口還是高興裝智障不會壓指紋都可以因為等下面試可能會被電這裡就是你唯一可以預防性報復老美的地方幸好米國官員辦事有板有眼絕對不會跑去面試窗告狀報私仇der 最後一關面試的變化太大我打算獨立給他一個大篇幅我個人辦理的是F-1 其他種類的簽證我不了解雖然一對一面試表面上是自己決生死的Armageddon 但隱私問題卻給我軍帶來莫大的優勢別種簽證請踩著前人千千萬萬的屍體前進吧真的坐很久有聽到吵架也有聽到講笑話 :P 好回到F-1 就我的觀察所有簽證好像都有一個弱點那就是有利害的親友在米國因此簽證的目地被懷疑欸欸你真的要念書嗎你是來找親戚玩的吧? 所以有親友在美國照顧並一定會加分喔除非你的學習動機很強烈是不是? 先生在美國有綠卡有房產要講啊 -.- 並不是友親友就不能發簽證但是說謊隱瞞會一竿子打翻全部看到這裡還留下來的F-1申請者應該跟我一樣在美國無依無靠親友的社會連繫都綁在台灣但怕就怕面試官氣血不通心情不好所以我寫這篇心得文來分享一些我準備的重點先舉一個初階的例子 Q: What are you going to do in the U. S. and A.? A: Study. 分析: 廢話中的廢話就是這個字斗大的F-1字樣 I-20都交出去了還不知道你去Study嗎? 一個正常的答案應該長這樣子 A: I'm going to study WHAT PROGRAM for HOW LONG at WHAT SCHOOL in WAHT STATE. 但是起手式用完就要放大招了 Q: Why did you choose this school? Q: How is this program gonna help you in the future? Q: Why does it have to be in U. S. and A.? Can't you study in Taiwan? Q: What forces you go back to Taiwan instead of working in U. S. and A,? You don't seem to be a serious student. And the lack of bond between you and Taiwan makes me unable to issue you this visa. Sorry. I cannot tell you what to do. You have to convince me. But I'm not buying your promises anywayz. Next. 客官哪摸摸自己的良心呀有親友問親友有入境問入境財務大概不是問題先有證明才拿得到I-20啊我們這群什麼都沒有的魯蛇們難道乾心站在那裡給簽證官狂噴嗎? 只要在電腦跑資料的時間內將對方困在WHERE? HOW LONG? WHAT PROGRAM? 等到電腦資料跑完沒有可疑的記錄心理上又覺得已經問了不少問題雖然其實沒有... 總之所以很多人建建議言簡意賅就是這個道理接下來介紹我自己徹夜沙盤演練的中階對話我這個人啊積分常常十連敗所以總覺得應該做好各種最壞的準備可是我確信自己很符合國土安全的期待於是我發動手塚區把問題一步一步拉入我用輔助資料堆成的信長包圍網 Finance [Certificate of Bank Balance] [戶籍謄本] [土地謄本] Q: What do you do? A: I don't do anything? Q: Oh, you mean you don't have a job. So who's gonna pay for you? A: I will be supported by my family. Here's the bank balance Q: OK. that's fair enough for one year. What do you plan for the second one? Will you work in the U. S. and A. for your expense? A: No, I usually have TWO PARENTS. Here's the other year. Q: Why will you go back to Taiwan after studying? Don't you wanna stay in the U. S. and A.? A: No, I'm the only son in my family. And my parents said that if I leave them alone in Taiwan, I will inherit shit. Academic [Transcript of Acadamic Report] [Credential Evaluation And Authentication Report] [Certificate of Degree Conferal] [TOEFL iBT] [GRE General] [GRE Subject] [Recommendation Letter 1] [Recommendation Letter 2] [Admission Letter] Q: Why do you want to study in U. S. and A. instead of Taiwan? A: Becase THIS SUBJECT was founded, developed and exceled in the west. My only foreign language is English. But they lost the war so I crossed U. K. out. Need not to mention that Aussie is just a bunch of whimpy losers Additionally, Holly Wood culture has made its impact.(給肥佬) NBA legends have made its impact.(給壯男) I AM A BIG FAN OF YOUR FOOTBALL TEAM.(給女士) Q: Why did you choose THIS SCHOOL? A: While I was applying, those application forms usually ask me if I have interest in some recent researches of their faculty. And I have established email contach with WHICH PROFESSOR in WHICH SCHOOL. We've discussed choice of fields and possible tuition waiver. I do feel welcomed. That's the most significant factor to my decision. Q: I can't tell you are a serious student from your report card. Why did you take leaves of absence from school? A: Sigh. I was young and imature. But I must have changed before graduating My professors' saw it. So they were pleased to my recommendaters. WHAT SCHOOL saw it. Therefore they granted me admission. Just in case, if you unseal those envelopes, do not return them to me. I've waived my right of reading the content. I believe my professors are more accurate to tell if I'm qualified or not. 排隊看到前人一個個慘死大刀下我也一次次修正我的應對整晚沒睡層層心理壓力真的很大 Q: 下一個最後終於輪到我踏上那個小窗口 Q: ...
