Oh, yes. I am sure there are many research works concerning this.
Even forget those under development, nuclear power is one, isn't it.
Unfortunately, it still can not replace the fossil fuel.
Research takes time and nobody can guarantee all the attempts will be
successful.
By their new energy can be widely used and replace fossil fuel,
they, or we, still need energy, and somebody got to find the energy and
deliver to you.
It is you, or we, who pay the bill to use the energy.

I wish the international relations would be governed in an order.
Essentially, they are, and they are never fully governed.
I am not saying what is reasonable but rather telling you what is happening.
I don't know if there will be a great war for energy in the future.
I hope that won't occur.
However, do you know if it would be absolutely impossible to happen?
