Timeline:
2022/01 I-140 approved at previous company (PD 2021/06/22)
2022/04 Started at new (current) company
2022/10 Green Card application requested
2022/12 PERM Questionnaire completed
2023/01 PERM PWD filed
2023/03 Experience Verification Letters obtained from 2 previous employers
2023/06 PERM PWD approved
2023/10 PERM filed
2025/03 PERM approved
2025/03/31 I-693 obtained
2025/04/15 Birth certificate obtained
2025/04/16 EB-2 I-140, I-131, I-485, I-765 filed concurrently with spouse
2025/04/18 I-797 receipt date
2025/04/24 I-140 approved
2025/05/16 Biometrics appointment completed (Interview marked as completed same day)
2025/07/17 I-485 approved for both of us
2025/07/22 Card Was Produced
2025/07/23 Received USPS tracking numbers arriving 2025/07/26
Personal notes:
1. Provided both hospital records & household transcript in Chinese and English as birth certificate
2. I-693 and birth certificate can be obtained before PERM approval to speed up the process
3. It takes at least 3 years to get a green card if you start from 0 nowadays (without PD)
