N-400分享 San Jose 雖然要入籍有些規定要改了，不過還是紀錄一下 5/5/2025 filed (system 5/6) 7/23/2025 case is still being processed. 8/12/2025 interview scheduled 9/24/2024 passed interview 9/24/2025 oath ceremony 預估的等待時間，大概在7月底左右還突然增加好幾個月，不過沒多久就收到面試通知了。門口要看通知書跟ID，然後過安檢。進去後就是等著叫名字面試官是一位印度女性，會怕印度口音的平常可能要多熟悉一下。比較特別的是面試官應該是比較熟悉台灣的情況，一開頭就問我有沒有在國內服過役、受過軍事訓練。因為我是研發替代役的所以沒有服役，面試官還問說有沒有waiver，我沒有準備只跟他解釋說可以選擇服役或是去公司上班，公司會開特定的職缺，就沒繼續問了。有同樣情況要面試的人，可以的話，最好還是準備一下相關文件。然後問一些：基本資料有沒有用過別的名字每年都回台灣都做什麼？有沒有商業活動？接著就是讀寫測試： How many senators do we have? We have one hundred senators. 10題civil test: What is the “rule of law”? What are the two parts of the U.S. Congress? What is the name of the President of the United States now? If the President can no longer serve, who becomes President? What is one reason colonists came to America?
