China Airlines announces additional Taiwanese charter flights to Cairns

UP TO 600 Taiwanese tourists will fly into Cairns in July this year aboard
two China Airlines charter flights, it was announced today.
Up to 900 Taiwanese tourists will also fly into Brisbane during three China
Airlines charter flights later in July and August.
Cairns Airport CEO Kevin Brown said the announcement "re-establishes an
aviation link between our two cities".
Tourism Queensland CEO Anthony Hayes, who is in Cairns today meeting with the
Tourism Queensland board, said the additional services had the capacity to
bring up to 1500 Taiwanese into Queensland.
"The whole of Queensland will stand to benefit from this great announcement
as our Taiwanese visitors will arrive via Cairns and Brisbane, but will have
easy access to domestic flights into various other Queensland destinations,"
My Hayes said.
The inbound Cairns charters will arrive on July 11 and 25, while the Brisbane
flights will arrive on July 4, 18 and August 1.
