Since 9 December 2007 the Railplus function is automatically included
in the price of the Bahncard 25/50. This allows passengers to purchase
international tickets to 24 European countries with 25% discount,
as long as the journey begins in Germany. Before December 2007 this
option was only available for journeys to Austria and Switzerland
under the TEE Rail Alliance. Bahncards with the Railplus option have
the "R+P" logo printed on the back.
